Traction Mentorship

Working alongside Traction Community, Verde’s founder Toby Forte introduced permaculture as an out of classroom learning experience for youths at risk in south east QLD.  With help from the students we were fortunate to take over the previous horticulture site at QLD TAFE, Alexander Hills, transforming this previously derelict site into and edible and sustainable work of art.  This program ran as a 10 week (term) program rewarding participants with a feast in the final weeks from produce they had grown.
