Byron Bay Hinterland, NSW

This beautiful market garden and mini food forest was created to make use of a somewhat unusable corner of the property.  Utilising run off from an established driveway we were able to pick up the contours shortly after, slowing and sustaining that flow through a citrus and stone-fruit orchard.  There is under story planting throughout with a variety of root crops and productive clumping grass species.  The nutrient dense run off then slowly feeds the vast and incredibly productive market garden which sits immediately beneath.  The variety of productive species and generous yield from this relatively small area is again testament to this design, plus aesthetically it’s now such a beautiful area of the property.
